Three years ag, I went n hliday with my family t the impressive Huang Shan, the Yellw Muntain. It is a famus turist destinatin lcated in Anhui Prvince．I am a student, and I am extremely busy at study. Therefre, this hliday was a great chance t get away frm the city, and spend time with my family members fr a few days．
Huang Shan is a stunning muntain range, but it is als famus fr the very steep walk up t the tp．It was a tiring climb, with thusands f steps, but the view frm the summit was wrth it. It was abslutely spectacular, with rcky peaks and a clear blue sky abve．We saw a sea f cluds belw us. We tk many pictures (the place was truly picturesque).
In the mrning f the secnd day, we gt up at 5 am t see the sunrise, and we were very lucky nce again because the cluds did nt get in the way, althugh the weather was freezing up there. It was a memrable mment fr me and my wife.
Nwadays, we smetimes lk at the pictures and remember hw much fun we had. I hpe I can take my family smewhere else again very sn. Hpefully, ur next trip will be t Australia.

A few years ag, I learned French by myself, but I have never had a chance t practice what I have learned. If I culd g t Paris, it wuld be a great pprtunity t catch up n my French. Paris must be a stunning city. First f all, it wuld be amazing t see the architecture. I knw that in Paris, mst buildings are very ld, if nt ancient. Let me intrduce yu abut the Great Wall. It is a massive mnument that has becme the symbl f China. The Great Wall is extremely famus because f its impressive size. It is a gigantic cnstructin lcated in nrthern China. The Great Wall has nw becme a ppular turist destinatin. Mst peple visit the site near Beijing, althugh yu can get t the Wall in ther prvinces, such as Hebei r further dwn in Gansu and Shaanxi.
It was built mre than 2000 years ag in rder t prtect the kingdm frm nrthern invasin. The Wall was put tgether during the reign f varius emperrs, but the majrity f the existing wall was built during the Ming Dynasty.
Building such a huge frtified wall required a lt f materials. At first, wrkers used the stnes they culd find in the muntains. But n the plains, the rcks had t be carried r rlled frm far away. It was an incredible prject. Later n, during the Ming Dynasty, they started using bricks, which made the Great Wall strnger and mre elabrate.
The Great Wall lks like a dragn unwinding abve the muntains．It is a spectacular and picturesque cnstructin that stands in remembrance f the past. There are watchtwers every 100 meters and the view frm the tp is abslutely breathtaking. It is s impressive．

Let me intrduce yu abut what has nw becme a sensatinal turist attractin in China. I'm sure yu have heard f the Terra-Ctta Warrirs utside Xi’an city. I visited the place 2 years ag with my parents, and I learned a lt abut the Emperr Qin Shi Huang, and why he decided t duplicate his army.
The city f Xi’an has gained fame since the time 30 years ag when a farmer dug a hle and fund tns f different statues buried under his field. It turned ut t be the tmb f ne f ur famus Emperrs．Emperr Qin Shi Huang was the first t unite the Chinese Kingdm, s he played a very imprtant rle in Chinese Histry.
Befre he passed away, this emperr decided t be buried with a whle army f sldiers in rder t be prtected during the afterlife. He was afraid f what culd happen t him after death. He called fr thusands f peasants t carve an impressive number f statues, representing sldiers and hrses. They were all placed in lines all arund his tmb．Many archelgists have dne research there t explre the secrets f the Qin Dynasty.
What is remarkable is that each warrir has a different hairstyle r expressin. Sme f them are standing while thers kneeling dwn. Anthrplgists have dug many statues ut f the dirt, but nt everything because they're wrried pllutin and high temperatures will destry the sculptures.
This museum reveals the splendr f past dynasties, as well as the beauty f ur Chinese imperial heritage．It's really wrth a visit!

Let me intrduce yu abut a place called Gu Shan, r Gu Muntain, and it is a very ppular spt fr peple t g hiking. A few weeks ag, my friends and I decided t climb ne f the mst famus muntains that surrund my hmetwn. If yu g n the weekend, the place will be extremely crwded, but if yu g n a weekday, it is a very quiet getaway frm the nise f the city center.
Gu Shan is lcated abut 30 minutes utside my city. There is a small path that takes yu all the way t the tp f the muntain. There are thusands f steps, but I can't say that it is a steep climb，especially cmpared t the Great Wall r the famus Yellw Muntain. Hwever, it tk us abut an hur and a half t reach the summit, and it was a very peaceful walk in the frest.
In additin，we saw many stunning rcks n the side f the path, with beautiful engravings n them. Yu knw, in China, we really appreciate the art f calligraphy, and my friends and I tk sme pictures f each ther next t thse sculpted scrlls. At the tp f the muntain, there is an impressive Buddhist temple, with traditinal architecture and a grgeus pnd full f water lilies with turtles swimming inside. The place was s calm, s pleasant; we all enjyed the tranquility f it.
Right utside the temple, there is a platfrm where we can admire the scenic view f my city. We were lucky with the weather: it was a clear day, and we culd lk ut ver the entire city. It ffers a spectacular view.
I must admit that walking up the hill was a bit tiring, but it was als relaxing. We talked. the whle way. My classmates shared sme funny stries, and we all had a blast (= a great time)．On tp f this, hiking is very healthy, and I thught it was a great wrkut fr bth my heart and my legs. Let me intrduce yu abut a jam happing a cuple f weeks ag. My mther came t pick me up after schl. She usually des this every Friday afternn t give me a ride hme. I attend a barding schl and I nly get t g hme n the weekends．
Usually it takes abut 15 minutes fr us t get hme. My high schl is lcated n the suthern side f the city, next t the University campus．But my mther shwed up late that time, and we gt stuck in traffic. It was a nightmare！
In my city, like in mst urban areas, traffic gets pretty bad during rush hur. This time, the rads were cmpletely cngested, and it tk us an hur t drive hme．I culd have walked and it wuld nt have taken that much lnger！
The prblem in ur city is that mst streets are narrw, and the number f cars increases every day. In additin, there are t many mtrbikes and bicycles that always get in the way.
