Greetings
T and students greet each ther saying “Gd mrning” and “Hw are yu” t each ther.
Lead in
(T leads in the class by reviewing the title f unit 6. )
First, T asks students t review the title f unit 6.
Then, T asks students if we can delete “am” r the “ing” frm f the verb.
At last, T chses ne student t tell the meaning f the sentence “I’m watching TV” and then asks students the questin “Are yu watching TV?”. Thus, the cntent f “wh-questins” and “yes-n questins” will be presented afterwards.
Presentatin
T shws students many pictures n which there are bth wh-questins and yes-n questins as fllwing:
Are yu watching TV? What are yu ding?
Is she sleeping? What is she ding?
Is he brushing teeth? What is he ding?
Are they running? What are they ding?
T gives students a task t write dwn all the questins that they have seen just nw; After that, T asks students t bserve and find ut the cmmn character f these sentences. T thereafter shws students what wh-questins and yes-n questins are.
After the teaching f wh-questins and yes-n questins, a game is played here t practice the use f yes-n and wh-questins as well as t have sme fun
After the game, T shws students tw sentences as fllwing:
She’s exercising (nw).
She exercises (n Mndays/ every night/ in the mrnings).
T explains the tw sentences ne by ne t students. Then the present cntinuus tense and present simple are taught while explaining the tw sentences, including their meaning, structure and symbl wrds etc.

In the part f teaching wh- and yes-n questins, the practices are: example giving and chice making. (Ask students t give mre examples f wh-questins and yes-n questins; T gives students sme questins and let them decide if these questins belng t wh-questins r yes-n questins and then answer these questins after the chice is made)
In the part f teaching present cntinuus and present simple, the practices are: Sentence making and blank filling
