    Ⅰ. Warming-up and lead in (3 minutes)
    (设计意图:通过视频展示动物园的情景,使学生身临其境。)
    Greet the students warmly.
    Then play a vide abut many kinds f animals, then asking them questins: D yu like animals? What animals have yu seen in the z?
    Ⅱ. Presentatin
    New wrds teaching ( 5 minutes )
    (设计意图:出示图片教授单词,学生更易于接受新知。)
    Shw the class sme pictures f animals and present ther animals. And ask them:
    What’s this in English?
    It's a panda. (Then teach elephant, tiger, kala, and giraffe in the same way) Ss lk at the pictures and try t remember the new wrds f the animals.
    Guessing game ( 3 minutes )
    (设计意图:用“看图猜词”的游戏充分调动学生的感官,激发学生的学习兴趣,并突破本课的重点单词的学习。)
    T: Shw sme pictures n the big screen. Let Ss guess what animal it is, and remember the names f the animals.
    Shw yurself ( 3 minutes)
    (设计意图:让学生表演,冲击视觉和听觉系统,以加深记忆印象,加快知识的接受速度。)
    One student tries t act ut r tells sme things abut a kind f animals, the ther students try t guess what animal it is.
    4. Finish 1a and let students read the wrds and say the answers.(2 minutes)

    (设计意图:充分利用CAI辅助教学,以图文并茂的形式让学生轻松、自然地习得知识。)

    Ⅲ. Listening Practice (4 minutes)
    (设计意图:此环节在播放三遍听力的同时,即训练了学生的听说能力,也提高了学生捕捉听力细节的能力。)
    Wrk n 1b.
    Tell Ss t listen t the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a. Play the recrding again and check the answers with the class.
    Get Ss t listen and fill in the blanks, then crrect the answers. Finally have Ss repeat each sentence accrding t the listening materials.
    Ⅳ. G n a trip (Pair wrk) (5 minutes)
    Ask the students t imagine “We are in the z, there are many kinds f animals here.”
    (设计意图:模拟真实情境,让学生描述自己喜欢的动物,并给出原因这一活动,使交流真切、实际,保证了语言交际的有效开展,体现了以学生为本的教育理念。)
    Then ask a student t d the mdel with yu:
    — Let’s see the lins first.
    —Why d yu want t see them? (Why d yu /des she /des he like lins?)
    —Because they are interesting.
    Let Ss wrk with their partners practice the cnversatin using the descriptin wrds in 1c. The teacher can add mre adjectives fr Ss t learn.
    V. Cnslidatin ( 8 minutes)
    (设计意图:小组活动,目的在于培养学生把所学的知识运用于实际生活的能力。)
    Grup wrk : Ask the students t tell smething abut their lucky animals(吉祥物) and give yur reasns, then chse ne student t intrduce as a guide. Wrk in grup f fur. Shw an example that dubbed by teacher.
    Hell, bys and girls. Nw let me tell yu smething abut my lucky animals. I like pandas best .Because they are friendly and lvely. They live in the frest. Mst f them cme frm China. They like eating bamb. D yu like them?
    Let sme students intrduce their lucky animals. Give them help if necessary.
    VI. Emtinal educatin (2 minutes)
    (设计意图:通过本课时的学习,让学生看到动物的可爱之处和存在的价值,学生学会正确处理人与自然的关系,学会保护动物,旨在对学生进行情感教育)
    Enjy a vide abut human and animals. We can see that human can live happily with animals frm the vide. S animals are ur friends. But we are lsing ur friends because sme peple are killing them. Guide students t cultivate the awareness f prtecting the animals.
    VII. Summary (2minutes)
    Sum up the target languages by a Micr-Curse Online Vide

    VIII. Hmewrk (1minutes)
    Oral: Practice the cnversatins n Page 25.
    Write: Try yur best t describe what animals yur family like and why?
    (设计意图:通过作业的方式,可以让学生在课后提高听说读写的能力,同时也有利于让学生养成良好的英语学习习惯。)

    IX. Teaching Reflectin (教后反思)
    The students are interested in the animals, s they are active in class activities. But sme students are still nt active in class. Maybe they are afraid f making mistakes. I shuld arrange sme activities that sme students can finish easily. And the atmsphere in class is gd. The students can cperate with the teacher and master the target languages well.
