    1.通过这节课的学习,同学们能够相互谈论个人的兴趣爱好和特长。

    2.同学们通过课堂的练习能够提高英语听说能力

    情感目标

    1.扩展培养同学们的兴趣爱好。

    2.通过谈论彼此的兴趣爱好,加深同学们相互之间的了解。

    1. 学习怎样谈论彼此的个人能力和特长
    2. 掌握弹奏乐器或进行某些特长活动的表达方法。

    1. 能够正确使用can
    2. 各种能力或特长活动和play的搭配使用

    主要教学步骤

    Step 1:Greeting

    Greet the class with a smile and say, Nice to meet you,winter vacation is over,we need to start and continue to learn new knowledge.

    Step 2:Lead-in

    At the beginning of the class, the teacher will show a video of Jay Chou's concert to the students and say, Many people like Jay Chou very much because Jay Chou sings very well. He can also play many musical instruments, such as piano, violin, guitar,and so on, and then ask two questions Can you sing? What are your hobbies?. The teacher will invite some students to share their answers.

    Step 3:Presentation

    Show some photos related to various activities, such as playing the piano, guitar, basketball, football, and so on.

    T:He can play guitar, I can't. Can you play the piano?(用手指向相应的图片)

    S:Yes, I can./No, I can't.

    T:but I can play basketball.(用手指向相应的图片) What can you do?

    Step 4:

    Ask the students to look at the picture in 1a carefully and think about the question what can these people do? What clubs appear in the picture?, three minutes later, ask the students to complete the questions in 1a and check the answers.

    Step 5Listening

    Play the recording in 1b and ask the students to listen carefully, after the recording, look at the three conversations and tasks in 1b, and then play it again, after the second time, number the conversations[1-3], and check the answers.

    Ask the students to look at the dialogue in part 2a and the sentences in part 2b, and then play the recording in part 2a, after listening, try to complete the learning tasks in these two parts, and then play it for the second time, in the process of playing, ask the students to check their answers, after the recording , the teacher gives the answers.

    Step 6Practice

    (1)Pairwork

    Practice the three conversations in Part 1b with your partner. Take turns to replace the roles and practice twice. After that, think about your hobbies and then make up the dialogue yourself.

    Look at 2b and talk about what the people can do and the clubs they want to join with your partner.You can imitate the following sentence patterns.

    A:What club does Lisa want to join?

    B:She wants to join the ....

    (2)   Role-play

    Divide the students into groups of two. Let one of them play the role of Jane and the other play the role of Bob. Then practice the conversation in  part 2d. Change roles in turn and practice twice.

    小结: The teacher can ask the students to conclude what they learn from this class, and then make a summary together.

    家庭作业: Copy and recite the new words learned in this lesson. Preview the content of the next class.
