Step 1 Warming up and revisin
1. Daily greeting.
2. 复习动词不定式的用法,并完成相关任务。
3. Check the hmewrk. Let sme Ss reprt “Wh’s the … in class?”
Step 2 Presentatin
1. Present the new wrds n the big screen and learn the new wrds tgether.
1) repair v. 修理;修补 2) fix v. 安装;使固定
3) give away 赠送;捐赠 4) wheel n. 车轮;轮子
2. Ss read and try t remember the new wrds.
3. Wrk n 1a and match the sentences with the similar meaning.
4. Check the answers with the Ss.
Step 3 Matching
Wrk n 1a
1. Ask ne student read the phrases and the nuns. Tell Ss t match the phrasal verbs with the nuns. Then make sentences with the phrases.

2. Let sme Ss cme t the blackbard and write dwn their sentences. Then check tgether.

3. I gave away my ld clthes t the pr kid. 4. I ran ut f my mney last weekend.
5. I fix my bike and give it away.
Step 4 Listening
Wrk n 1c:
1. Tell Ss t lk at the pictures in 1c. Tell them the by in the pictures is Jimmy. He’s a gd by. He likes t help thers. What is he ding nw? Listen t the tapes and number the pictures.
2. Play the recrding fr the Ss. Ss just listen fr the first time. Play the recrding again and number the pictures.
3. Check the answers:

1. Let Ss read the sentences in 1d first. Tell Ss t listen again and judge the sentences True r False.

3. Ss listen t the recrding carefully and try t judge.

1. Wrk in pairs. Rle-play a cnversatin between Jimmy and the reprter. Use the infrmatin in 1c and 1d.
2. Let tw students make a mdel fr the Ss.
3. Ss practice their cnversatins
