Knowing that you admire Su Bingtian very much because he broke the Asian record in the semi-final of the 100 meter race in the Tokyo Olympic Games, I’m proud of his achievement as well.

Su Bingtian, the 32-year-old man, is a Chinese runner. He was born in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province on August 20th, 1989. He took part in the regular match in November, 2004 for the first time. After that, he won many first prizes in all kinds of matches. Because of his dedication and efforts, in 2021, Su Bingtian did what no Chinese runner had done before, as he sprinted to secure a place in the 100m men’s final at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

He deserves this medal, and he really is a flying man of China, of Asia.

Aileen Gu, also nicknamed "International Freestyle skier", was born to a Chinese mother and American father, from whom she first discovered her love for the sport. When she was young, she showed strong passion in skiing. She has devoted great effort to skiing and was admitted to the national team eventually. In 2015, just a few months after she reached her first World Cup podium, the San Francisco native announced she was switching to compete for China instead of the US—a controversial decision that thrusted her firmly into the spotlight. But what impresses me most is her wonderful performance in 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, when she faced great pressure from the French competitor. It is with great courage, outstanding professional skills, and perseverance, that she overcame all the difficulties and finally won the competition, becoming the world freestyle skiing champion.

Owing to that, her spirits will never stop influencing me, pushing me to work hard to achieve my goal. Aileen Gu has set an excellent example to us that whatever difficulties and ordinary appearance we have, or however frequently we are defeated,we can achieve what we pursuit in our life, as long as we are not disheartened and go on with our dreams.
