Step1 Lead in

1.Teacher helps students to revise Passive voice in the simple present and past tenses. And write down the sentences and mark in red.

1)  Trees are planted in March every year.

2)  The little girl was saved by a policeman.

3)  Many tall buildings were built last year.

2. Let Ss revise the simple present and past tenses.

Step2.Presentation.

1.By revising Reading to ask some questions:

 1) What will happen if you cut down a tree in Switzerland?

Ss:We will be punished if we cut down a tree in Switzerland.
2.)What will happen if you drop litter in a public place in Switzerland?

Ss: We will be fined by the police if we drop litter in a public place in Switzerland .

2. Give more examples.

 The classroom will be /is going to be cleaned by Tom tomorrow.

 The sports meeting will be /is going to be held next month.

 More trees will be/are going tobe planted by our school next year.

Let Ss read the simple future tense and learn to the usage of it .

By contrasting active voice and passive voice to help Ss to understand the structure of passive voice.

Tom will clean the classroom tomorrow.

The classroom   will be cleaned     by Tom tomorrow.

Step3.Practice.

1. Give some sentences about active voice of simple future tense and change them into passive voice.

2. Complete the Part A in groups.

3.Let students read the sentences,then check the answers together .

4.The teacher introduces Part B ,and then let them complete it.

5.Complete “Work out the rule”.

Step4.Homework:

Do exercises on exercise book .

Try to remember the rule .
