The man always sits there, selling matches and there is always an ld dg near him. There is a piece f wd arund the dg’s neck, with the wrds “I’m blind" written n it. Mr. Black is a kind man. He gives him a little mney every day but never takes any f his matches.
Yesterday, Mr. Black had a lt f wrk t d in his ffice and was very late. He came t the man and his dg, but he did nt stp. He walked quickly tward the railway statin. But the pr man std up quickly, ran after him and said, “Yu haven’t given me anything tday. Yu’re always kind t me.” Mr. Black stpped and lked at the man. Then he said, “Yu are a blind man. Hw did yu fllw me?” The pr man said, “I’m nt blind. My dg is.”
