Step 1:Warm up
①播放“Let's sing”部分的歌谣,师生共同吟唱,并边唱边做动作。
②教师和学生谈他们的作息时间,如:
T:What time do you get up?
Ss:6:40 (six forty)
T:What time does Mike get up?由此引入课文。
Step 2: Presentation
①教师拿出Mike的图片,并问:“Who is he?”What time does he get up?学生可能会给出各种不同的答案,教师播放没有字幕的数学光盘,并让学生找出答案。
②学生听两遍录音,并结合视频,填空:
It's 6:30 am. It's time to
It's 7:30 am. It's time to
It's 8:00 am. It's time for
③学生打开课本,教师通过情景、动作等帮助学生理解“hurry”“ready”“thirty”的意义,并适当进行写句子练习加以巩固。
如:Hurry up! Breakfast is ready. Are you ready?

④列举句型:It's time to go to school.
It's time for English class.
让学生加以比较,区分用法,教师加以点拨指导。
⑤戴上人物头饰,分角色表演对话。
Step 3: Consolidation and extension
①完成“Let's play”
同桌两人一组,一人拿钟的简笔画,另一人作答,并运用句型:“What time is it?”“It's…o' clock. It's time for/to…”来对话。
②自制一个自己的活动作息表,并用句型It's time to/for…来表达。
③教师可拿出Part A部分的六个单词短语图片,学生根据图片迅速用“It's time to…”以及“It's time for…”这两种句型表述句子。如:吃早餐的图片:It's time to eat breakfast./It's time for breakfast.
④课堂小练习,选短语写在横线上。

Step 4: Homework
用英语向好朋友介绍自己的活动作息表。
本课时主要通过Mike的作息活动来呈现核心句型“It's time to…”“It's time for…”,要求学生能掌握两种表达方法的用法和区别,并能灵活运用。同时继续巩固复习句型:“What time is it?It's…o'clock”通过不断操练句型,掌握其运用情景和场合
