    2. 间接引语用法
    1). 在引用别人的原话时,被引用的句子称为直接引语。
    例句:
    “Pass me the dictinary, Mike,” she said.
    她说:“给我递一下词典,迈克。”

    他建议说:“我们乘出租车回家吧。”
    2). 当用自己的话转述别人的话时,被转述的部分称为间接引语。
    例句:

    3). 间接陈述句
    如果转述的是陈述句,需要:
    (1). 用连词that引导,that 可以省略

    He said (that) he had lst his umbrella.
    他说他丢了他的伞。
    (2). 改变引语谓诉动词的时态,使其与主句谓语动词时态保持一致动词变化如下:

    他说路仍然堵着。
    Paul said, “I’m trying t get a taxi.”
    Paul said (that) he was trying t get a taxi.
    保罗说他正在等出租车。
    The pliceman said, “Yu can prevent the accident.”

    警察说我不能阻止那个事故。
    改变问接陈述句中的时间和地点。变化如下:
    根据句意,改变人称。例如:
    He said, “I like my new huse.”
    He said that he liked his new huse.
    他说他喜欢我的新房子。
    He said, “We’ll discuss this tmrrw.”
    He said they wuld discuss it/the matter the next day.
    他说,他们第二天在讨论。

    把下面的直接引语改成间接引语

    alive,living,live与lively的区别
    1. alive 意为“活着”,侧重说明生与死之间的界限,既可指人,也可指物;可用来作表语,后置定语或宾补。虽有死的可能,但还活着。
    例句:
    N man alive is greater than he. 在活着的人中没有人比他更伟大了。
    He wanted t keep the fish alive. 他想让鱼活着。

    2. living意为“活着”强调说明“尚在人间”,“健在”,可用来指人或物,作定语或表语。
    例句:
    My first teacher is still living. 我的启蒙老师仍健在。
    English is a living language. 英语的活的语言。
    注意:living 前加上the,表示类别,指“活着的人们”。
    例句:
    The living must finish the wrk f thse dead. 活着的人必须完成那些死去的人的事业。
    living 还可用于短语,例如:make a living 谋生。

    3. live“活着的”,通常指物,不指人,常用来作定语放名词的前面。还指“实况转播的”。
    例句:

    He said he had seen a live whale. 他说他看见过活鲸鱼。

    4. lively 则意为“活泼的”,“活跃”,“充满生气的”,可作定语、表语或宾补,既可指人,又可指物。
