教学准备 | - print out the flash cards on PPT Page 37-38. - PPT |
教学过程 |
Play a warm up game on PPT P 4-10. Students say the missing number on the page. T ask “ What (number) is missing.”
In PPT P12, count with students to make sure they aware the spelling exceptions. (fourteen/ forty; fifteen, fifty ) B. Learn how to read cardinal numbers (PPT 12-16) In PPT P13, Teach students how to read 3 digits numbers. In PPT P14-15, Teach students how to read numbers larger then a thousand. In PPT P 16. Students learn how to read decimal.
T can use the equation on the right of the page to practice speaking. Ss pair up to ask and answer questions based on examples.
How to write and read ordinal numbers. And learn basic rules. Highlight writing/spelling exceptions (first, second, third | twelfth) Learn large ordinal numbers.
- 1/2 is special, we say one half/ a half. - One fourth also can say one quarter - If the numerator is larger than 1, the denominator should add “s”.
3. Ordinal numbers indicate the order. And we practiced to use cardinal numbers to express position, fraction and date.

教学反思 | Number is easy for Junior students. But its hard for them to remember and hard for them to know how to use. Practice in class is important. During the practice, students should be able to visualize the word, and be able to say them and gradually improve their fluency. |
