Step 1 Lead-in
1. Free talk
T asks Ss t brainstrm sme sprtspersns by asking the fllwing questins:
• Wh is yur favurite sprtspersn?
• Why d yu like him/her?
• Can yu intrduce him/her?
2. Task assignment
T: Bys and girls, d yu lve sprts? Tday’s class we’ll discuss yur favrite sprts stars and learn hw t write a fact file abut him/her.

Step 2 Deciding n the sprtspersn t write

2. T asks Ss t read the example in the textbk and find ut the basic elements f a fact file.

4. T leads students t think abut hw t write a fact file:
Tip 1: Prvide sme figures abut the persn’s achievements.
Tip 2: List the achievements in time rder.
Tip 3: Add mre facts if necessary.

Step 4 Task divisin

• making a presentatin

Step 5 Presentatin and assessment
T asks each grup t display their prcess f making the fact file. And ne member presents the wrk rally. When they display the wrk, they shuld pay attentin t the fllwing pints:
• Speak clearly and cnfidently.
• Make eye cntact with the audience.
• Keep their facial expressins relaxed and friendly.
• Talk at a prper speed and pause when it is necessary t give their audience time t think abut what they have said.
