一般过去时【知识精粹】： 表示过去存在的状态或过去的动作，要用一般过去时，在句中常常出现过去的词。如：just nw, right nw, a mment ag, yesterday, the day befre yesterday, last mnth, last year等。
1.一般过去时是由动词的过去式构成的，过去式即动词的ed形式。(1)一般情况下在词尾加ed。 ①在元音和浊辅音后读/d/。如： stay—stayed climb—climbed ②在清辅音后读/t/。如： wrk—wrked lk—lked help—helped(2)以e结尾的动词加d，读音同上。 like—liked live—lived hpe—hped

2.一般过去时的运用 (1) be动词变成was，were，其中 am，is →was，are →were。 (2) 行为动词一般加-ed，没有人称、 单复数之分。 (3) 行为动词变成问句和否定句时将 d/des →did，同时动词用原形。
