There nce lived a king wh had a palace with beautiful gardens. In thse gardens lived thusands f creatures (living things) representing hundreds f different species It was a paradise (heaven).

Varieties f plants and animals lived happily in the king’s garden.
There was nly ne thing that the king disliked – the remains f a huge tree standing in the middle f the gardens. It was withered (drp lifelessly ) and dry. S, he had it cut dwn and replaced (filled in fr) with elabrate (cmplicated) funtains (spray).

He tried them all, but nthing culd restre (bring back) the ryal (皇家的) gardens t their frmer (earlier) splendr (beauty).
