(一)、Section A
该课时有2个内容模块:
1.第一模块在以上两模块的基础上以From shy girl to pop star为话题展开训练,训练形式为填写表格(3b);
2.第二模块拓展思维,让学生随意谈论自己的过去与现在,并简单陈述一下发生变化的原因。

1. She used to be shy, but now she’s not shy anymore.
2. She didn’t use to be popular in school, but now she gets lots of attention.
3. She used to hang out with friends, but it is impossible now.

(二)、能力目标
学生能运用used to结构,谈论学生自己怎样与过去不同,能准确地描述自己的外貌、性格的变化,灵活运用used to 结构处理和传递信息。学会陈述自己过去常做的事情。

培养学生积极健康的心态,学会谈论事物的发展和变化,明白事物是不断发展、变化的道理。

四、教学难点
1.本单元主要内容是学会used to结构。Used to +动词原形表示过去经常、以前常常,只用于过去式中,用来表示现在已不存在的习惯或状态。
例如:They used to play football together.他们过去常在一起蹋足球。(现在不在一起踢了)
2.used to的疑问形式和否定形式为Did you use to…?和I didn’t use to… 也可以用Used you to…?和I used not to…但现在多使用前者。

Now let’s learn the text. The following is a news report about a girl, from a shy girl to a pop star. The teacher asks the students to read by themselves for about two times, and then asks one student to read to the class. Then the teacher reads the text and changes it to Chinese. Then Let the students read again and let them pay attention to the structure “used to” .And ask one student to answer the questions.
Now the teacher asks two students to read the passage to the class, after one finish reading , the teacher says Good to him or her; them the teacher read the text and change it to Chinese Comprehension Check.
