    I tk a jb as a receptinist fr a vet almst five decades ag. As an animal lver, I accepted the psitin n the cnditin that I wuldn’t have t assist with any wunded animals.
    I culd nt bear t see any creature in pain. At the end f my first week, we were clsing the ffice fr the day when a yung man ran up t us hlding a severely injured Dberman puppy in his arms and begging us t save its life.
    The fur-mnth-ld puppy had been hit by a car. The vet and I ran back int the perating rm. The nly place the skin was still attached t this pr little animal’s bdy was arund ne shulder. The vet wrked tirelessly fr what seemed like hurs, stitching it back tgether again. That was the easy part. The puppy had brken multiple bnes, including its spine. If it survived the next few days, we were quite sure it wuld never walk again.
    That day frever changed my life. The veterinarian trusted me a lt and I became his assistant in all things medical. One f my first jbs was t give that Dberman puppy daily physical therapy(治疗).
