Adidas and Puma have been tw f the biggest names in sprts she prductin fr ver half a century.
Since 1928, they have supplied shes fr Olympic athletes, Wrld Cup ftball heres, Muhammad Ali, hip hp stars and rck musicians famus all ver the wrld. But the stry f these tw cmpanies began in ne huse in the twn f Herzgenaurach, Germany.
Adlf and Rudlf Dassler were the sns f a shemaker. They lved sprt but cmplained that they culd never find cmfrtable shes. S they started making their wn. In 1920. Adlf made the first pair f athletic shes with spikes (钉状物), prduced n the Dasslers' kitchen table.
On 1st July 1924, they frmed a she cmpany, Dassler Brthers Ltd, and they wrked tgether fr many years. The cmpany became successful, but in 1948, the brthers argued. N ne knws exactly what happened.
