prefer v. 更喜欢 相当 like...better，其过去式和过去分词均为preferred，现在分词为preferring。常见用法有：① prefer sth. 更喜欢某物e.g. Which do you prefer, tea or coffee? 你比较喜欢哪一样，茶还是咖啡？
② prefer to do sth. 更喜欢做某事e.g. I prefer to travel by plane because it’s both fast and safe. 我更喜欢乘飞机旅行，因为它既快捷又安全。③ prefer+(doing) A + to (doing) B 比起(做)B事更喜欢(做)A事e.g. I prefer strawberries to any other fruit. 我喜欢草莓胜过任何其他的水果。 I prefer taking a walk to sitting in front of the TV. 我宁愿去散步而不愿看电视。
④ prefer to do sth.+rather than do sth. 宁愿做……而不愿做…… = would rather do sth. than do sth. e.g. My brother prefers to stay at home alone rather than go shopping . 我的弟弟(哥哥）宁愿独自待在家里而不愿去购物。

along with 随着；和……一起 作“和……一起”讲时，相当于together with。e.g. The teacher played basketball along with the students. 那位老师和学生们一起打篮球。 She could sing along with music at the age of four. 她4 岁时就能随着音乐一起唱。
注意：当主语后面紧跟由with, along with, together with等引出的短语时，谓语动词的数要与主语保持一致。e.g. She along with her dad is playing tennis. 她正在和爸爸一起打网球。

dance to 随着……跳舞 其中to为介词， 意为“按照；随着”e.g. The girls danced to the beautiful music.姑娘们随着优美的音乐跳舞。The girl began to sing to the piano.这个女孩开始随着钢琴唱起来。
