1. when是疑问副词，意为“什么时候；何时”，用来询问时间，既可询问某个时段或时刻，也可询问具体的日期。如：—When is the sccer ball match? 足球比赛在什么时候？—It’s September 15th. 在9月15号。—When d yu watch TV? 你什么时候看电视？—At eight ’clck. 在八点钟。

2. May 2nd（5月2日）是日期的表达法。表达具体日期通常为“月份+序数词”，月份首字母必须大写，书写时日期可以是序数词，也可以是基数词。如： 6月8日 June 8th 或 June 4 英语中表示具体年、月、日的方式通常有两种：“月+日+年”或“日+月+年”。年份要用逗号隔开。如： 2017年9月9日可表达为：September 9th, 2017或9th September, 2017
3. It’s n January 5th. 是1月5日。1) 月份后有具体的日期时，前面的介词用n；若只有年、月就用介词in。如： n May 22nd 在5月22日 in Octber 在10月 in 2017 在2017年 2) 该句中的it用来代指时间。如：It’s August 1st tday. 今天是8月1日。It’s six ’clck nw. 现在是6点钟。
