Module 8  AccidentsUnit 1An accident reportWe got a call that an accident happened round a corner on Centre Street. We got there quickly. A young woman was lying on the ground and looked pale. We were glad that she wasn’t badly hurt. We sent her to the hospital in time. How did the accident happen? Two women were riding bikes quickly side by side along the street when there appeared a truck(卡车). They wanted to avoid(避免) the risk of hitting the truck and turned to the other side of the road.
