Step1.Review
1.Students enjoy the letter song and sing along together.
2.Read the letters loudly.
3.Review the greeting sentences.
(1).Ask students to fill in the blanks, then make up dialog with your partner.
(2).Let students sing the English song“What's this” together to review the sentences:
_ Hello, Helen!
_ Oh, ______, Eric.
_ What’s ______ in English?
_ _______ ______ pen.
_ And _______ ______ in English?
_ It’s ______ ________.
Step 2. Lead in
Students sing the song“What color is it?”, the teacher asks some questions to lead in the new lesson.
Step 3. 1a
1.Show some color pictures to learn the new words of color.
2.Read these new words.
3.Point and say out the name of color quickly(玩转盘游戏来巩固新词)
4.Finish 1a.
Step 4. 1b
Students can read after the tape for several times. The teacher can also give them time to read by themselves.

2.Pair work
让学生两人一组进行生生活动来练习1a的句型。
Step6. 2a
1. The teacher read the letters and the students repeat.
2. Ask the students to pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. Try to imitate.
Step 7. 2b
The teacher read and let students listen and number the letters that they hear.
Step 8. 2c
1.Ask students to look at the letters in 2c and pay attention to the orders of the writing. Then the teacher writes the letters on the blackboard.Try to write beautifully.

【探究归纳】
1.color n. 意为“色,颜色”。
拓展:color还可以作动词,意为“为……着色,使……染色”。
2.red adj 意为“红(色)的”。
This pen is red.
Please color the picture red.
3.and,并列连词,意为“和,又,而且”,用来连接两个并列的单词,短语和句子。
It’s red and white. 它是红白相间的。
and 用于加法运算中,意为“加”
Three and five is eight.
注意:当and 连接两个名词或代词作主语时,谓语动词be 要用are。
4.What color is it? 它是什么颜色?
这是用来询问颜色的特殊疑问句,其结构为:What color + be+ 主语?回答一般用“It’s/They’re +表示颜色的形容词”,如果是多种颜色,则颜色之间必须用连词and。当and 连接两个或两个以上表示颜色的词时,表示两(几)种颜色相同。
5.英文字母Ss-Zz
(1)英文字母的书写要求:
英文字母分大小写两种形式。Ss-Zz这8个大写字母均占上两格。小写字母中s, u, v,
