Lead in

1. Show some pictures to students and learn some phrases.
2. Then use ‘used to do sth.’ to make sentences according to the pictures.

Presentation

(1)  Students look at the pictures in 1a and finish 1a.

(2)  Students report their answers by sentence like “ I used to like...”.

(3)  Teacher keeps showing some pictures to students, and students speak out the phrases, then use the phrases to make sentences like”When I was a child, I used to like  __________”

1. Teacher SHOW a discussion to students, then students discuss what other things they used to like.
2. Ask two group students to show their conversations.

1. Students look at 1c and read the sentence by themselves.
2. Listen to the tape and finish 1c.
