    Time went fast and the sun was already high up in the sky. It was getting ht and I was tired. I was ready t g when I saw the ld man again. The park was hall empty. He was still there, cllecting the rubbish left n the benches with much elfrt. Time and time again, he stpped t straighten his bdy but he shwed n sign f leaving sn. Clearly, it was hard wrk fr peple f his a age.
    “Nt t leave? What if he has n water left in such ht weather?” I wndered.
    With sme hesitatin, I walked tward him.

    When they arrived at the cncert hall, Emily handed her vilin t her teacher, Mrs Allen, fr tuning and tipted ver t where the curtains parted. Lking ut, she culd see that all the seats were filled, with many mre peple standing in back.
    Nervusly she tk her vilin and sat with the ther students nstage. She held her breath as the curtains started t pen and Mrs Allen picked up the micrphne t begin the prgram. One by ne the students played their pieces. Finally, Emily heard her name annunced. Her heart punded as she walked tward the frnt f the stage.
