You know what? It wasn't that bad. He could easily finish his homework that night. It gave him extra game time because his work was all done. The next day, even though his voice was coming back, he stayed quiet again. The third day, he could talk fine, but he listened and raised his hand to speak.

There are about 6,500 languages all over the world. But about half of them are in danger of disappearing. One organization called Wikitongues is trying its best to save world languages. It has a simple goal: to provide the tools and support that people need to save their languages.
Wikitongues has an open collection of world languages online. The collection is in the form of language videos. Now there are over 400 languages on Wikitongues. Some, like English and Chinese, are spoken by hundreds of millions of people. Bora, for example, is spoken by only a few thousand people.
When a language disappears, many other things like culture and knowledge can disappear, too. So, it's necessary to bring languages back. There are many languages that disappeared but later returned to use. Hebrew disappeared in the 4th century BC, and people brought it back in the 1800s. Now once again, it's the mother language of half of the world's Jewish population.
One of Wikitongues' volunteers is Theron in Namibia. His mother language is Subiya. It's spoken by about 30,000 people. However, he doesn't get the chance to speak it every day. Like many other educated people from his area, he speaks a lot of English. Theron hopes the world can know about his language through Wikitongues. Now he is working to create a dictionary and language teaching materials.

69. What's the main idea of the passage?

C. It's necessary for people to protect their languages.
D. People should speak their mother language every day.

Recently our class have had a discussion about whether we need labor classes. Here are most of the thoughts on this point.
Most of our classmates thought it necessary for us to attend the labor class. On the one hand, we can learn some important life skills from a labor education. On the other hand, it can help us develop good habits of working, which is good for us in the future.
To develop the labor education in our school, I'd like to give some advice. First, our school should offer labor classes, such as planting, cooking and so on. Second, our school should hold competitions like doing housework to encourage students to do it well.
I love labor very much. And I hope our school will open the labor classes as soon as possible to make our school life meaningful.
