教学目标: At the end of the class, the students will be able to: 1. read Jane’s diary to learn about her vacation. 2. learn to retell the diary. 3. keep an English diary to improve our English ability. | |||||||
教学重点: 1. Key vocabulary: enjoyable, activity, decide, try, bird, bicycle, building, trader, wonder, difference, top, wait, umbrella, below, enough, hungry, as, hill... feel like doing, enjoy doing,walk up to, decide to do, because of, walk around... 2. Key sentences: a. I wonder what life was like here in the past. b. What a difference a day makes! c. When we got to the top, it was raining really hard. d. And because of the bad weather, we couldn't see anything below. | |||||||

| Fast reading: Make Ss read Jane’s diary entries about her vacation and answer the questions. Did Jane have a good time on Monday? What about on Tuesday? Careful reading: 1. Make Ss read Jane’s diary entries again and fill in the chart in 2c. 2. Check answers in class. 3. Ask Ss to complete the conversation about Jane’s trip to Penang using the information in the diary entries. 4.
