专题07 求助信
求助信顾名思义,你遇到了某种问题写信向别人寻求帮助,主要分成两大类:(1)学习方面遇到的一些问题,比如压力太大,或者学习方法不对;(2)生活方面的一些问题,比如人际交往,或者你丢失了什么东西希望别人帮你寻找。下面分两个方面进行呈现。
Sample Model 01
假设你是李华,你在英语学习中遇到了一些问题,你给英语报社的编辑(Robert)写信咨询,希望得到帮助。你的问题如下:
1.对英语学习没有兴趣;
2.记忆单词有困难;
3.害怕出错误,不敢参加小组讨论。
注意:
1.词数100左右;
2.可适当增加细节,以使行文连贯;
3.结束语已为你写好。
思维过程
第一段:自我介绍+背景呈现(写信的目的)
[1]我是李华,一名高中生。
I’m Li Hua, a senior high school student.
[2]得知您在英语教学方面很厉害,我写信向您咨询一些我遇到的困难,希望得到您的帮助。
Knowing that you are an expert in English learning, I’m writing to consult you about some problems I come across, hoping to get help from you.
[*在表示“擅长..”的时候,用be an expert in..来替换be good at;consult这个词,表示“请教”的时候后面直接+sb.,注意consult with sb.是“与某人商量”。]
第二段:描述自己的问题+希望得到什么帮助
[3]我有很多头疼的问题。
I have many problems.
There are quite a few headaches flooding to my mind.
Sentence IV. There + be +n., consisting of A, B as well as C.
There + be +n., including A, B as well as C.
[2014全国I]关于这个课程,我有很多疑惑,比如课堂的规模,开始和结束的时间以及确切的价格。
There are quite a few questions confusing me, consisting of the size of the classes, the start and end times as well as the exact price.
[2011全国]当我学习英语的时候,我遇到了很多问题,比如发音,词汇和阅读等。
There is a variety of questions flooding to my mind when I learn English, including spoken English, words, and reading.
[4]我记不住单词,我很苦恼。
I have much difficulty memorizing words. I am annoyed.
What annoys me most is that I have much difficulty memorizing words.
Sentence II. What + v. me +be+ n. What + v. me +be+ that SVO.
[如:令我感到困惑的是..,怎么写?困惑是confuses,就是动词,把它放在v.的位置,前面是what,后面是me,然后加be动词(单数形式),后面加n.或者that从句。]
[2014全国I]令我担心的是这个学校的学费。
What concerns me is the fee(学费) of the school.
[2013全国]令我感到沮丧的是我不仅英语不好,而且缺乏自信。
What upsets / disappoints me is that my English level is not very good and I am lacking in self-confidence.
[5]我想知道你是否可以推荐一些在记单词方面有效的方法。
I wonder if you could recommend some effective methods of memorizing words to me.
[6]因为我英语很差,所以我缺乏自信并且害怕出错误。
Due to my poor English, I am lacking in confidence and afraid of making mistakes.
Sentence XII. since+句子 due to sth. / doing sth.; owing to doing sth.

Owing to reading a great variety of books, I have laid(建立) a solid foundation in language learning.
[7]这就是为何我总是小组讨论中最不活跃的那一个人。
That’s why I am always the least active one in group discussions.

I am desperate(绝望的;渴望的) to restore my faith in English.
第三段:表达感谢+盼望回复

[*注意“寻求你的帮助”的高级的表达是“request your assistance in doing sth.”。]
第二段:失物外观的详细描述+失物的重要性
[3]这是一个24英寸的蓝色帆布手提箱。还有一条粉色的带子,上面有我的名字,系在手提箱的左把手上。(箱子的外观介绍,大小+颜色+材质)
It’s a 24-inch blue suitcase, made of canvas(帆布). And there is a pink strap(带子) with my name on tied(系,绑) to the left handle of the suitcase.
[4]我非常着急,因为我把我的笔记本电脑和重要证件都放在了里面,包括我的身份证,护照和几张信用卡。(说明重要性一,箱内物品)
I am extremely anxious since I had put my laptop and important certificates in it, including my ID card, passport as well as my credit cards.
