I opened my front door violently, eager to yell out toward their room. However, I controlled my temper and just reminded them in a friendly way. Then the noise upstairs disappeared. But I was still anxious about having to move out of the apartment. So I called Joanna and told her about the bad news. Joanna advised me to look on the bright side. After talking with her, I felt much better and fell asleep soon.Paragraph2:Eager to find another apartment, I got up very early the next morning. I visited several apartments for rent. But I didn’t find a suitable one. At six o’clock, I returned to my apartment, feeling exhausted. To my surprise, I met Neil and he brought me good news. “Lisa, you don’t need to move out. I’ve talked with your upstairs neighbors. And they were quite kind girls and were willing to move out to help you. By the way, they were sorry for the noise they made last night.” I felt so moved by what Neil and my neighbors had done for me. 听力原文Text 1W: I never thought I would spend six hours on the road on the way home.M: It’s reported that it has a severe car accident on the highway exit. You know that our pay barely covers our monthly expenses.M: I know, but I was counting on that $500 to pay for new tires for my car.W: Do you really need new tires right now? The way I look at it, I have rights on it for some new shoes.Text 7W: I plan to watch Me Before You (《遇见你之前》) tonight. Would you like to go together?M: Sorry. I have seen it last Sunday. First, I think she’s a fantastic singer. I just fell in love with her voice the first time I heard her sing. And then, she writes her own songs. Another reason I like her is because she’s a mixture of different cultures, and that makes her music interesting. Her videos are very, well you know, sexy, but I don’t think she’s really like that — she’s got four dogs and she likes working in her garden.M: Thanks, Julia. One more question. What would you like to talk to Shakira about, if you could meet her?W: Oh, lots of things. I’d like her to teach me how to dance.
