Lesson 17   第一课时 一、教学内容：1.主题课文：北京奥运会（the 29th  Olympic Games）2.功能句型：How many medals did Chinese sportsmen win?They won 51 gold medals,21 silver medals, and 28 bronze medals.3.词    汇：such, success, win, number, shirt, set, bowl, 以及host，is, are, come, win的过去式。二、教学目标：（一）知识与技能目标：1理解课文，了解北京奥运会，并能正确朗读课文。2 能听懂、会说句型How many medals did Chinese sportsmen win?及其答语They won 51 gold medals,21 silver medals, and 28 bronze medals.3 能听、说、读、写such, success, win, number, shirt, set, bowl。4 能认读、说出host，is, are, come, win的过去式。（二）过程与方法目标1 利用图片呈现北京奥运会上的会徽、会旗、奖牌，吉祥物，以激发兴趣。2利用图片呈现历年奥运会上中国队的成绩，帮助理解课文及功能句。3 由于本课生词较多，所以运用拼字游戏来帮助记忆四会词。4 给出关键字，让同学简要复述课文内容。（三）情感态度价值目标了解北京奥运会，增强民族自豪感。三、教学重难点：（一）重点：能在情景中运用How many …did …？及其答语。（二）难点：能对生词进行描述。四、教具准备：单词卡片、录音机、课件等； 五、教学过程：（说明讲解）（一）Warming up:活动一：认识北京奥运会活动目标：了解北京奥运会的会徽、奖牌，吉祥物实施方法及师生语言：1 出示历年奥运会上的会徽、奖牌，吉祥物2 提问哪些是北京奥运会上的会徽、吉祥物, 奖牌， T：Let’s look at some Olympic logos, medals, mascots                                       Which are for the Beijing Olympics？S: the second groupT：They are called logos, mascots and medals.  设计意图：激发学习兴趣， 过渡到课文。 （二）Presentation and  Practice 活动二: 课文学习活动目标：理解课文实施方法及师生语言：1 学习生词 做填字游戏。2在文中找到下列单词的过去式：host， are, win, come, is 3 出示历年奖牌榜，帮助理解课文。4阅读每个方框，找出关键字。5 跟着录音朗读课文。T: first, let’s learn the new words in this lesson and finish the word puzzle.S: （read aloud) such success win number shirt set bows  e  ts  u  c  hb o w l     c              i      c            n u m b e  r        s                   s  h  I  r  tT: Find the past form of the following verbs in the text: host， are, win, come, is S: Beijing hosted the 29th Olympic Games.They were such a great success.They won 51 gold meadals, 21 silver medals, and 28 bronze medals.They came out number I on the gold medal table.
