Step II. Revisin
1. Revise the cmparative and superlative degrees f adjectives2
2. G ver the sprts events we learned befre.
Step III. Presentatin
Bring in phts f different sprts events, e.g. the 60m race, the 60m hurdles, the high jump, the lng jump, etc. Put them n the bard.
2. Pint t the pht f the high jump and ask the students “What is this event?” The students answer “It‘s the high jump.” Revise the wrds race, high jump, lng jump.
3. Teach the names f events by pinting t the phts f the events ne by ne: hurdles, 60m race, 60m hurdles, 800m race
4. Teach the ther new wrds and expressins by shwing the real bjects r pictures: hur, minute, secnd, medals
5. Tell the class that yur favrite event is the 60m race. Explain t them that m is the shrt frm f meter. Ask a student “What is yur favrite event? Get him/her t answer truthfully, e.g. I like the 60 hurdles/ …

Shw Transparency. Pint t the pictures n the page. Read alud r play the tape. Ask the students t repeat the wrds after yu r after the tape.
