Writing an Activity plan An activity plan sets out everything you will do as part of your project to achieve positive outcomes for the people involved. These might be participants, visitors, volunteers or trainees but might also include new and existing staff. What is an activity plan?There are 3 parts to help create an activity plan:Where you are nowAction planning (Budget and evaluation)This part is about looking at your current situation, and will help you think through why you want to engage new people with your activity. Where you are now You will need to consider:Your organisation : Who needs to be involved in planning your activity? Do you need to make organisational changes to make it happen?Your audiences: Identifying the people who currently volunteer, visit or participate and also people who are not currently engaged with your activity.Your goals: what is it seeking to achieve?
