    The Old Man and the Sea(Excerpt)Ernest Hemingway (1899~1961), an American writer f nvels and shrt stries, is well thught f fr his unique writing style. He is extremely gd at describing the adventures f tugh men wh he believes “can be destryed but nt defeated”[1]. The Old Man and the Sea, ne f his mst imprtant nvels, tells the stry f a fisherman named Santiag.
