It must be ….It could be ….It might be ….It can’t be ….这是本单元的第一课时,主要是进行听、说的训练。学情分析本班的学生基础较差,大部分学生存在厌学情绪,根据这一现象,为了吸引学生的注意力,本人采用游戏和引用名人明星的图片相结合的办法进行教学。 教学目标1.To learn must,might,could and can’t for making inferences.2.To listen and speak making inferences. 教学重点和难点Key point:New vocabulary:belong to,authoe,picnic,hair band,possiblyImportant point:To listen and speak making inferences. 教学过程教学环节教师活动预设学生行为设计意图Step1 Play a guessing game Show some photos of some famouse movie and singing stars.Get students to guess who he is.Students guess:He might/could/must/can’t be... Students start to learn to make inferences. Step2 Summarize Show a chart with the four wordsmust,could,might and can’t in it. Get students to read the words. Disdinguish the possibility of must, might, could and can’t. students Step3 lead-in Ask some questions and show a dialoigue.Check the answers in 1aStudents answer the questions an read the dialogue aloud.Get students to finish 1aHelp students make inferences better. Listening pratice Step7 Exercise Show some exercises and check the answers Students do the exercises Consolidating the knowledge Step8 Summarize Step9 Homework 板书设计 Unit5 It must belong to CarlaBelong to sb.属于某人----Whose football is this? ----It could be…. ----It might be…. ----It must be….----It can’t be….学生学习活动评价设计 对各学习小组进行评比,让学生自己选出表现好的小组进行表扬,并鼓励发挥欠佳的小组继续努力。教学反思在本节教学中,学生猜谜语的时候大多用到must,而could,might和can’t用得较少,应该引导学生尽量用到所有目标语言来make inferences.另外,学生参与教学的积极性有待提高,由于学生的基础较差,在今后的教学中应该多运用教学游戏,特别是把一些学生感兴趣的话题引用到课堂上来,以提高学生的积极性,尽量让学生在课堂上多开口,增强学生自信心
