二、学情分析
五年级的学生已经积累了一定的语言词汇及句型,能用英语进行简单的交际。学生学习语言的兴趣浓厚,乐于模仿,积极尝试。因此,在教学中,教师要引导学生体会故事的情感,积极思维,结合生活经验,调动已有知识进行表达,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
三、教学重难点:
重点:能够理解故事内容,复习巩固方位介词beside,ver,between以及There be句型。
难点:
能够借助板书复述故事内容。
能针对故事中的人物发表自己的看法。
四、教具准备:白板课件、板书人物图片、单词卡片、评价图片
五、教学过程
Step1 Warm-up
Greetings and evaluatin.
T: Tday I will divide yu int tw grups. Let’s have a match between each ther.
(设计意图:利用板书一副漂亮的画,把学生分成两组,让学生通过自己的努力得到更多的小花,激发学生兴趣,引导学生积极主动学习。)

T: Lk at the picture, there is a can hiding in it. Let’s find where is it? (设计意图:利用生动的图片,在情景中复习方位介词,用There be句型描述物品的位置。)

Step2 Presentatin
1. Lead-in.
T: Where is the can nw?
There is a can beside the river.
Hw des he feel? He is sad.
(设计意图:引出故事背景。)
2. Watch the stry and answer.
(1)T: Why is the can sad? What happens t him? Nw let’s watch the stry.
(设计意图:整体感知故事内容,寻找关键信息。)
(2)T: He can’t find his hme. He is pr. S he is crying fr help. Can yu help me? I want t g hme.
(设计意图:引出can请求帮助的句子,通过阅读提示,让学生模仿can的语气寻求帮助。)

4. Learn the stry picture by picture. (解析文本)
T: Why dn’t they help the can? Let’s g in t the stry.

Ss: Srry, I’m busy.(运用白板的动画消失功能提示孩子bird很忙,听音模仿bird的语音语调。)

Ss: The naughty bear kicks the can. He laughs ludly “Ha ha”. The pr can says “h, n”. (通过动画演示帮助学生理解kicks的意思。)
(3) T: The can flies ver rabbit and mnkey. He says “help”. Hw d the mnkey and rabbit say?
Mnkey: Lk at that pr can.
Rabbit: Cme n! We are late fr schl.
(4) T: Lk, where is the can nw? The can falls between tw fish. D the fish help the can? Hw des Mr fish say? What abut Ms fish?
Mr fish: Here cmes a can.
Ms fish: Let’s give it t Zm. He can help.

(5) T: What des zm d? Zm catches the can.

(6) T: He puts the can int the trash bin. Hw des the can feel nw?
Ss: He is happy. He says: hme, sweet hme.

T: We shuld put the trash int the trash bin. The sign means recyclable. This sign means nun-recyclable. Cans are recyclable. Lk, the peel, waste paper, glass bttle, waste rubber, water bttle. Which things are recyclable? Which things are nun-recyclable? Let’s put the trash int the right trash bin.
