To reach the learning goal, the students need to know the expressions for describing body parts, health problems, and giving suggestions. And period one provides them with plenty opportunities to practice their listening and speaking so as to master the expressions and sentence patterns.Student Analysis: The students have learned words of body parts before, but not all of them. Warm-upNew vocabulary learning—Body parts【5min】 1a【2min】 Show the students a clip art of a person and teach the body parts one by one. Ask the students finish the matching task in 1 minute and check their answers. compete to say out the names of the body parts they have known and learn the ones they don’t know carefully. Match the body parts with the letter in 1a as quickly as possible. Ⅱ. Presentation Sentence structures’ learning【8min】 First, Show the students a short video about health problems and ask:What’s the matter with the boy ?(from simple to difficult) Then, show other videos or pictures, and have students to make the same conversations. According to the video, compete to answer the teacher’s question: He has a toothache. Make conversations with one’s classmates according to the videos or pictures.S1: What’s the matter with ?S2: has a backache.

PromotionGroup work【10min】 2d conversation【5min】Homework Requirements: some students pretend to be ill and others try to give advice.
