灵活运用基数词1-8在生活的情境中自主表达。

教学过程

1. Song.

Listen to a song of the numbers to make students have an impression of numbers.

2. Lead in

  Show the picture of the song. Teach “how many”. It’s used to ask numbers. Say “Today let’s learn Module 5 Unit 1 How many.”

3. Presentation

(1) Lead in. Show the pictures of Part 1. They’re rabbits. Ask “What color? How many? ” Students can answer “Yellow.” Then think about how many rabbits when they are watching the video.

(2) Watch. Play the cartoon. Get students to find out the numbers of the rabbits. There are four.

(3) Read and spell. Learn the numbers from one to four. Let them know the word “two” has the same sound as the word “too”. The word “four” has the same sound as the word “for”. Stress the pronunciations of letters “th” and “ee”.

(4) Match. Match the numbers with the English words to practice their spellings.

(5) Lead in. Show the picture of the panda magician. Ask “What can the panda change?” Click on the hat. Students can see the rabbit. So they can answer “rabbits”. Then think about how many when they are watching the video.  

(6) Watch and find numbers. Watch the dialog of Part 2. Then students answer “eight”. In the end, show the results of the magic show to check the answer.

(7) Read and spell.

A. Learn the words of “how” and “many”. Let them know the pronunciations of letters “ow” and “a”. Notice we should put the countable plural nouns after “many” and “ how many”.

B. Learn the numbers from five to eight. Pay attention to the pronunciations of letters i and e. Give examples of having the same sound.

(8) Listen and repeat. Listen to the numbers from one to eight. Then repeat correctly.

4. Practice.

(1) Match the numbers with the words to practice the eight numbers.

(2) Finish Part 4.

(3) Game.

A. Show the wheels pointing to different numbers. Students say the number.

B. Say number, show fingers. Teacher can play the game with students.

C. Work out the math problems.

D. One student or the teacher says out the number, then the eight

students hold each other. They should follow the number. If you don’t

hold others, you are out.

(4) Count.

A. Show the picture about the white snow. Watch and count how many 

characters.

2. Show the picture of a robot. Get students to count how many squares,

rectangles and circles. Tell them to discuss in groups.

3. Show the picture of a classroom. Students discuss how many desks

/chairs/doors...in groups.

(5) Chant. It can revise how many and the numbers again.

(6) Spell. When looking at the circled numbers, write down the English words quickly. It can make students practice spellings.

(7) Numbers in life.

A. Read. Show the pictures of animals which are calling to each other. Read their telephone numbers.

B. Know the four important telephone numbers in our life.

(8) Song. Listen to a song with ten numbers. Let students learn about the words of nine and ten.

5. Summary

Sum up the key words and sentences to revise.

教学反思

In this lesson, by studying the numbers from one to eight. students can count the things in our life in English.

In class, help students to work in groups. They can learn the knowledge well from each other. Encourage them to answer questions in class. Tell students to use languages we have learned into the life. Pay attention to educating students to develop living skills.
