探究点1 “介词+关系代词”结构中的关系代词
“介词+关系代词”是一种普遍使用的结构。“介词+关系代词”结构中的关系代词只可用whm或which,不可用that。D yu remember the day n which (when) yu jined ur club?还记得你加入我们俱乐部的那一天吗?In the dark street, there wasn’t a single persn t whm she culd turn fr help.在漆黑的大街上没有一个她能够求助的人。
探究点2 “介词+关系代词”结构中介词的确定
介词的选择可以总结为“一先、二动、三意义、四特殊”。
1.一先,即先看先行词,从先行词入手。介词往往和先行词构成固定搭配,如表示时间则常和n、in、 by、during搭配;表示地点则常和n、in、at搭配;表示原因则常和fr搭配;表示方式则常和in、by、with搭配等。This is the huse in which (where) the inventr lived.这就是那位发明家住过的房子。
2.二动,即看从句中的谓语动词。根据从句中谓语动词的搭配选择合适的介词。He is the persn f whm everyne has heard.他是那位所有人都听说过的人。
3.三意义:通过判断主句表达的全部意义来确定合适的介词。He was educated at a lcal high schl,after which he went n t Peking University.他在当地的一所高中上学,之后他继续去北京大学学习。
4.四特殊:介词f 常用于“表示部分的词+f+关系代词”结构。常见的表示部分的词:不定代词all、bth、nne、neither、either、sme、any,数词(含基数词、序数词、分数和百分数),数词+名词,the+最高级/比较级,表示数目或数量的词(many、mst、few、several、enugh、 half、a quarter),等。There are sixty students in ur class,twenty f whm are girls.我们班有六十名学生,其中二十名是女生。The factry prduces half a millin pairs f shes every year, 80% f which are sld abrad.这家工厂每年生产50万双鞋子,其中80%销往国外。There are tw rms,the smaller f which is my study rm.有两个房间,较小的那个是我的书房。
