1. 复习巩固四会单词及日常交际用语：animal, arm, bdy, ft, leg, tail, wing, It has... It can..., 能用一般疑问句等来提问了解动物特征。
2. 能听懂、会说、会读词汇：crab，give，finger，rubber duck, sunny weather,carry an umbrella。
3. 能了解字母u在单词中的读音，即/ʌ/。
4. 通过学习如何描述动物的特征，让学生了解动物，喜爱动物，更能够与动物交朋友，以此来保护动物朋友。

学生能正确理解、朗读Cartn time中的故事，能读懂其中的趣味之处，能在教师的指导下表演故事。
