Sometimes, she was correcting 44 test papers; sometimes, she was having a heart-to-heart talk with a student; sometimes, she was preparing for her 45 . It seemed she 46 had time to take a rest!
I felt curious as to why my teacher was always able to be so 47 , though she was busy all day long. Gradually, I realized that teaching was a rewarding job. It brings a teacher a sense of 48 to be able to educate many young minds. A teacher would always feel 49 upon seeing his or her students go from expressing puzzlement to understanding all the difficult points.

China is famous for its food and has already given me many memorable experiences. There are lots of Chinese restaurants in Australia, but I was told that they were very different from what I would find in China. So I had no idea what I would be eating when I moved here.
And now, almost eight months since I arrived, I’m still discovering the strange and wonderful world of Chinese food. And I haven’t seen any local restaurants serving prawn crackers (虾片) or sweet and sour pork which I enjoyed in Australia.
Perhaps my most memorable meal so far was at a traditional hot pot restaurant. I have eaten plenty of hot pots before, but this one was really, really hot. My friends watched with interest as I tried duck blood, duck neck and duck intestines (肠). I would try anything once, so I was happy to give it a go. But I don’t think I’ll be trying duck blood or intestines again.
Walking through Wangfujing’s night market in Beijing was another interesting experience. I tried scorpion (蝎子) on a stick, sea urchin (海胆) and many other strange-looking animals. One thing I have noticed in China is that people love to eat everything on sticks.
But the thing I like most about Chinese food is that you don’t have to search very hard to find it. There are people selling delicious things on almost every corner, and there is always a restaurant nearby in Beijing.
It’s almost impossible to go hungry in China. The only question is: What should I try next?
( )54. What does the word “here” in Paragraph 1 refer to (所指) ?
A. China B. Australia C. The USA D. England
( )55. The writer tried duck blood, duck neck and duck intestines because ______.
A. he thought they were delicious B. he wanted to give everything a try
C. they were famous in the hot pot restaurant D. his friends encouraged him to do so
( )56. From the passage, we can know ______.
A. the writer really loves to eat everything on sticks
B. there is always a restaurant on every corner of China
C. it’s hard to find prawn crackers or sweet and sour pork in Australia
D. the writer seldom gets hungry in China because of so much delicious food

Ancient art doesn’t have to be boring. Technology in the 21st century can help to bring it to life by combining(融合) the best of the old and the new.
Along the River During the Qingming Festival
Walking into the China Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, people were amazed by seeing a huge digital(数码的) painting. Scientists digitised(数码化) the famous painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival by Chinese artist Zhang Zeduan. The original(原先的) painting shows life during the Northern Song period and it includes many details of ancient Chinese customs, lifestyle sand technology.
_____▲____ Farmers work in the fields, sailors move around their boats and people eat and do business in restaurants.Parts of the background are also animated(做成动画).You can see the wind blowing through the trees and across the water. These animations perfectly combine modern technology and ancient art.
Digital technology allows today’s artists to express their ideas in ways that ancient artists would not believe possible. Techniques such as animation, and 3D digital projection(投影)make art come alive.
Dunhuang Cave Paintings
Dunhuang Caves, which are protected ancient treasures in the Gobi desert in Northwest China, are filled with paintings and sculptures with lasting value. This artwork was created over a period of around 1,000 years.
The good news is for art lovers who cannot travel and for the caves. Scientists have created a 360-degree, 3D digital projection of the caves, which makes the artwork come alive. There is also a function(功能) that lets viewers zoom in and enjoy the paintings and sculptures in greater detail.
Digitising ancient art allows us to explore the ancient practices. It also makes the whole world understand the art while protecting the original artworks for the future.

It also makes the whole world understand the art while protecting the original artworks for the future.
(D)
Here is a story: A man sees a butterfly (蝴蝶) trying to get out of its chrysalis (蛹) difficultly. Feeling sorry for it, the man decides to help. He cuts the chrysalis and the butterfly comes out easily. Surprisingly enough, the butterfly is unable to fly. If the butterfly doesn’t struggle (挣扎) to leave the chrysalis, it can’t fly! The struggle develops the energy in the butterfly which makes it fly. Similarly, the challenges of life bring out the best in young people and make them fly.
When people are young, meeting and overcoming challenges will make them strong and ready to face life. When we look at successful people, we see that the most successful of them are people who have had to struggle. One famous businessman, who now owns many big supermarkets, used to carry clothes on his back and sell them from door to door when he was young. Another successful man is Dennis. His father died when he was only twenty. His father’s death forced him to mature fast. He had to bring up a family of nine people. He took up the challenges and overcame them. Today his brothers and sisters are leading successful lives.
Sometimes challenges do not appear to us because we keep away from them. So some parents and teachers actively encourage young people to face challenges. They might organize some activities for young people which provide them with challenges, like rock-climbing, camping, volunteer work and so on. However, just passing exams will not prepare a person for life. We must meet and overcome challenges. The young people of today will become the leaders of tomorrow. For countries to continue to become successful, it is important that the young people learn to meet challenges and overcome them.
( )61. From the story we know that the butterfly can’t fly because ______.
A. it gets out by itself B. the man feels sorry for it
C. it tries to challenge itself D. the man helps it come out
( )62. Dennis’s example shows that successful people should ______.
A. take on challenges B. take up business early
C. lead successful lives D. learn to bring up a family
( )63. The meaning of the underlined word “mature” in the passage is ______.
A. wake up B. give up C. grow up D. bring up
( )64. According to the passage, ______.
A. challenges always appear to everyone
B. passing exams don’t belong to challenges
C. rock-climbing and camping are helpful challenges
D. it’s unnecessary for young people to do volunteer work
( )65. What is the purpose of the passage?
A. To describe where a butterfly comes from.
B. To encourage young people to face challenges.
C. To suggest how to become a successful businessman.
D. To tell what will happen if a person fails.
其他选项wake up醒来,give up 放弃,bring up抚养长大都不对。
Some people think only school children do not agree with their parents, however, it’s not true. Communication is a problem for parents and children of all ages. If it’s hard for you to communicate with your parents, don’t worry about it. 66
Don’t argue with your parents. Don’t get to your parents when you are angry. Your parents probably won’t consider your ideas if you are shouting at them. And you can’t express yourself well if your are angry. Go someplace to cool off. Make sure you understand why you are unhappy. 67 If you don’t think you can speak to them at the moment, try writing a letter.
Try to reach a compromise (和解). 68 You can keep your disagreement and try your best to accept each other. Michael’s mother didn’t agree with him about buying a bike. They argued over it. But they finally cam to a compromise. Of course, your parents might refuse to compromise on something. In these situations, it is especially important to show love and respect to them. 69
Talk about your values. The values of your parents are probably different from those of your own. Tell your parents what you care about and why. 70 Tell your parents about what you care about and why
A good relationship with your parents can make you a better and happier person. Have a try!
A. Then think about what you want to say to your parents.
B. Showing respect will help your relationship strong.
C. Here are some advice to get rid of the generation gap (代沟).
D. Perhaps you can ask you parents to buy something.
E. Understanding values might help them see your purposes in life.
F. Perhaps you and your parents disagree on something.
Many of us may have great dreams. We may dream to be a scientist, a manager, a millionaire and so on. But a farmer in India devoted all his life to planting trees. His name is Jadav Payeng.
He was born in 1963. In his teens, he often saw hundreds of dead snakes on the river bank after floods. The top of the soil was washed away, trees were destroyed and animals lost their homes. In order to protect the environment, Jadav Payeng began to plant trees in his hometown. He found an island in the river, a few kilometers off the banks of the River Brahmaputra, and began to realize his dream.
Up to now, Payeng has visited the island and planted a few trees every day for 37 years. “The island was close to my home and I began by planting bamboos or non-valuable plants. It’s only since the past 15 years that I have begun to plant high value trees like teak (柚木),” said the forest man.
Because of his big contribution, Jadav Payeng was named as “Forest Man of India”. In 2015, he was honored with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian (平民的) award in India.

71:From India/He comes from India.

74:For 37 years.
75:Great/Selfless.

78. _______Although___ (虽然)Flag Day is a great celebration across the country, it is not a public holiday.
79. If you want to deal with your _worries_________ (令人担忧的事情),you’d better not keep them to yourselves.
80. Yao scored 41 points in his first game____against______ (对抗)the Atlanta Hawks after joining the NBA.

Recently, teenagers face many kinds of problems. Like many of them, I was always troubled with these problems. Nobody 86 could understand my feelings.
“The problem with you is that you always expect to be happy,” my mother once said. Surely happiness is the final purpose of living. Shouldn’t we work 87 hard to achieve it?
But now I have noticed a change in thinking. I gradually realized what my mother said was correct 88 . Over these years, many studies have shown that we are crazy about happiness and high personal confidence. That may make 89 us less happy with our lives. In f act 90 , we may often be happier when we stop paying attention to happiness.
We should also reset(重设) our 91 hope for the future. Don’t expect miracles(奇迹), and accept that no matter how hard 92 we work, feelings of failure and unhappiness will appear from time to time. When we feel sad, it’s often because we have learned something painful but important. So, it’s necessary for us to accept sad feelings as 93 part of life. At the same time, we should learn 94 about how to deal with them better than trying to make them disappear.
Happiness arrives when we are least expecting it. As my mother tried to teach me all those years ago, “Prepare for the worst 95 , hope for the best, and be unsurprised by everything in between.”
