★一般过去时用于描述过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。★常与表示过去的时间状语或从句连用，如：yesterday, last week, just nw, tw days ag, when he was six … 等。

本课我们重点关注含有be(was/were)的一般过去时
主语是第一人称/第三人称单数名词（代词）时，be 动词为was；当主语是第二人称单数或复数名词（代词）时，be 动词为were。即：
含be 动词的一般过去时
1) I was brn in Quincy.2) My first teacher was Mrs Lane. 3) Becky and Adam were Tny's friends.4) Were yu difficult in class?
含有be动词的一般过去时的各种句式：
1) He was in a bank just nw.刚才他在银行。2) They were at hme last night． 昨晚他们在家。
肯定句：主语+was/were+其他.
1) Han Mei and Wei Hua were nt in the classrm just nw.韩梅和魏华刚才不在教室里。2) Tny wasn’t a teacher tw years ag. 两年前Tny还不是一位老师。
主语 + was/were + nt + 其他.(was nt, were nt 可缩写为wasn’t, weren’t)
- Were yu n the farm yesterday? - Yes, I was. /N, I wasn’t.— 昨天你在农场吗？— 是的，我在。/不，我不在。
把was, were提到句首，句末用问号即可变为一般疑问句。
1) 一般疑问句：Was/Were+主语+其他？肯定回答：Yes, 主语(代词)+was/were.否定回答：N, 主语(代词)+wasn’t/ weren’t.

2) 特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+was/were+主语+其他?
