For children, they can't miss the Kids Room. 200,000 miles from Earth, the crew of the third manned mission to the Moon faced an astronaut's worst nightmare: an explosion on the spacecraft. It's what happened in the Oscar-winning film Apollo 13,but it's also a true story.

The lift-off of Apollo 13 took place on 11th April 1970. Two days into the mission, the three-man crew were in big trouble. They had been carrying out routine checks when there was a loud bang. Warning lights were starting to flash. Looking out into space, they could see a trail of gas-the spacecraft was leaking oxygen. They sent out a short message to the scientists back on Earth: “Houston, we’ve had a problem here.”At first，they thought that a meteor（流星）had hit them，but they later found out that a short circuit had caused an oxygen container to explode. Whatever the cause, they knew there was no time to lose. Their electricity supply in the command module（指令舱）depended on that oxygen and pretty soon they would run out of both.

The only solution was to move into the lunar module-the section of the spacecraft that would have landed on the Moon. Now though, they were using it as a kind of lifeboat. With its own power supply, oxygen and water, the three men could survive in the lunar module and return to Earth. There was another problem though. In an enclosed space like a lunar module, the carbon dioxide the crew was breathing out was dangerous. The equipment to clear the air of carbon dioxide was only built for two people. Now it had to deal with three. Amazingly, the crew managed to build an adapter out of materials onboard to reduce the carbon dioxide to a safe level.

There was one final hindrance. The lunar module wasn't strong enough to re-enter Earth's atmosphere so the crew had to go back into the damaged command module. To everyone's relief, the crew of Apollo 13 arrived safely in the South Pacific Ocean on April 17th. Although the crew didn't land on the Moon, NASA still considered the mission a success.

In the old days, when you had to drive to a movie theater or, to a video store to get some entertainment, it was easy to see how your actions could have an impact on the environment. You were hopping into your car, driving across town and coughing out emissions and using gas all the way.

But now that we're used to staying at home and streaming movies, we might get a little cocky. After all, we are just picking up our phones or maybe turning on the TV. You’re welcome. Mother Nature.

Not so fast, says a recent report from the French-based Shit Project. Watching a half-hour show would lead to 3. 5 pounds of CO2 emissions. That's like driving 3.9 miles. According to "Climate Crisis: The Unsustainable Use of Online Video”, digital technologies are responsible for 4% of greenhouse gas emissions, and that energy use is increasing by 9% a year. Stored in data centers, videos are transferred to our terminals such as computers, smartphones, etc. via networks. All these processes require electricity whose production consumes resources and usually involves CO2: emissions.

In the European Union, the EURECA project lead scientist, Rabih  Bashroush, calculated that 5 billion downloads and streams of the song "Despacito" consumed as much electricity as the countries of Chad, Guinca-Bissau, Somalia, Sierra  Leone and the Central African Republic used in a single year.

Streaming is only expected to increase as we become more attached to our devices. Online video use is expected to account for 80% of all internet traffic by 2023 according to CISCO. By then,  about 60% of the world's population will be online.

You're probably not going to give up your streaming services, but there are things you can do to help lessen the impact of your online use. Here are some tips:

Disable autopay tor video on social media.

Stream over Wi-Fi, not mobile networks.

Watch on the smallest screen you can.

Learning is so complex that there are many different psychological theories to explain how people learn. A psychologist named Albert Bandura suggested a social learning theory which shows that observation, imitation, and modeling play a primary role in this process.

In Albert Bandura's opinion, people can learn through observation. Observational learning doesn't even necessarily require watching another person join in an activity. We can also learn by reading, hearing, or watching the actions of characters in books and films. However, just observing someone else's actions isn't always enough for learning. Your own mental state also plays an important role in determining whether a behavior is learned or not. In addition, though in many cases, learning can be seen immediately when the new behavior is displayed, yet sometimes we can learn things even though that learning might not be immediately obvious, which means people can learn new information without showing new behaviors.             

Not all observed behaviors are effectively learned. Certain requirements need to be related to the observational learning process. For example, you need to be paying attention. Also your memory is an important part of observational learning as you need to pull up information later and act on it during the process. Once you've paid attention to the model and kept the information, it's time to actually perform the behavior you observed. Further practice of the learned behavior leads to improvement. Finally,  you have to be motivated to imitate the behavior that has been modeled.

Social learning theory have many real-world applications. For example, researchers employ it to look into and understand ways that positive role models can be used to encourage desirable behaviors. Besides, it's also applied in the field of education, and today, both teachers and parents recognize how important it is to model appropriate behaviors.

As they headed toward the library, the two high school students wrinkled their forehead. Finally, she recommended them to go to City Hall to voice concerns.

The next day, Isabel and Peter went into the building of City Hall but were met by an impatient officer. They were informed that the city couldn't help with their problem due to a tight budget. Discouraged, they left and turned to Mrs. Evans for help.

Under her guidance, they decided to ask Go Green, a non-profit organization whose goal is to protect the environment, for help. “This group is good at raising money for projects just like yours," said Mrs. Evans. She promised to arrange for them to present their ideas to Go Green. Hearing  this, their face lit up.

Two main tasks remained ahead: researching ways to clean up the park and preparing a convincing presentation. As Isabel was good at researching while Peter always had a talent for speaking, they cooperated quite well. Isabel learned from a science magazine that a new type of trash bin can squeeze the trash down without being emptied often, which saves time, money and energy. Based on this, Peter practiced his presentation over and over again.
