Just like many other languages, there are different varieties of English, and not everyone speaks English in the same way. The two most important varieties of English are British English and American English. They have many small differences in grammar and vocabulary. For example, the British say “trousers" while Americans usually say “pants". However, the biggest difference is in pronunciation.

What other varieties of English do you know about? Do you know how they are different?
