本课为人教版必修3第4单元的内容P25-27:How life began on the earth。教材从宇宙大

爆炸出发，依托时间节点，解剖了地球起源和生命起源的秘密，帮助构建基于时间线索下的思维导图意识，并边学习边积累词汇。本话题在整套教材中具有纲领性的引导作用，很有代表性，为后续科普类题材学习积累学习方法和教学经验，阅读过程中的阅读方法、能力培养等都为学生今后解决类似文章体裁奠定良好的基础。

本文学习大致按照如下流程开展：激活已知背景知识——设疑引入话题与解决体裁——快读时间节点——找出事件核心——展望未来，了解问题——解决问题，引发共鸣——文本复述，再次巩固——海报制作，关爱地球。

本文重点在于训练学生的基本阅读技能如预测、略读、细读等。通过预测了解文本体裁、文本结构、文本内容等。在细读文本的基础上解决对文本内容的处理，包括时间节点及关键事件，基于文本的信息解决。通过浅表性的梳理后，过渡到文本的高层次思考，这也是本课的学习难点，即如何延展人们对地球现状的认识，现状背后的原因何在，文章的真实写作目的等。最后要求学生能通过复述和海报制作，进一步巩固生命起源说，继而深入关爱自我，关爱地球。

综合而言，学生可以通过自主学习、小组活动、教师协助有效达成本课的重点内容学习，解决本课难点。
