Step 1 Lead in

Share a video about parents, after watching choose some students express their feeling or what they want to say to their parents.

Pre reading; Show some pictures, Students say out the words about the places and the jobs.

Places: hospital , hotel , school , bus station , theatre, police station

Jobs : doctor , nurse , teacher ,bus driver …

T: What is his/her job?

S: He/She is a/an ...,he/she works in/at a ...

Step 2 While-reading

1.Guide students circle the phrases in the passages, then play the record at the same time let students underline the words about job.
