形容词和副词通常有三种级别：1. 原级(Psitive frm): 没有比较含义，“……”；2. 比较级( Cmparative frm ):两者间比较“更……”；3. 最高级(Superlative frm)：三者及三者以上比较，“最……”。
注意：某些形容词和副词只用原级，如：perfect、excellent、dead等。
形容词和副词的比较级和最高级
（一）比较级和最高级的构成1. 规则变化
1. 比较级 + than 2. 比较级 + and + 比较级3. the + 比较级，the + 比较级4. A + 倍数 + 比较级 + than + B5. the + 比较级 + f the Which/Wh ... + 比较级， A r B ?
【特别提醒】(1) 比较的对象必须一致。Yur skirt lks mre beautiful than mine. 你的裙子比我的好看。(2) 有时为了避免重复，可用that或thse代替前面提到的词，而且that或thse不能省略。The ppulatin f Suihua is much smaller than that f Harbin. 绥化的人口比哈尔滨的(人口)少得多。

1. (the +) 最高级 + in/f 短语 该结构意为“……中最……的”。I think spring is the best time f a year. 我认为春天是一年中最好的时节。Tm wrks (the) hardest in Class 3. 在三班汤姆学习最努力。
2. ne f the + 最高级 + 可数名词复数 + in/f 短语 该结构意为“……中最……的……之一”。Hangzhu is ne f the mst beautiful cities in the wrld. 杭州是世界上最美的城市之一。
f与in都有“在……当中”的意思。但它们有严格的区别。用f的时候,主语同f后面的词是指同一类的人或物。而用in的时候,主语同in后面的词是指不同类的人或物。

【特别提醒】(1)最高级前有物主代词、名词所有格等修饰时，其前不加the。 The Yangtze River is China’s lngest river. 长江是中国最长的河流。(2)当mst表示“非常”时，其前不加the。 It is a mst useful bk. 它是一本非常有用的书。
