1. Read the instructions and the chart in 3a.

Your pen pal is coming to China on an exchange program. He/She is asking you about Chinese customs and what he/she is supposed to do or not. Make notes in the chart.

2. Ask Ss to write and give their advice.Ask them about these orally first.

3. Ask them to fill in the chart on their own.Complete the sentences and read them.

完成3a的表格，并且阅读它们。熟练地用be supposed to do or not 表达这些方面的内容。

Work on 3b.

1.Read the instructions in 3b and make sure Ss know what to do.

Write a letter to your pen pal to give him/her advice and suggestions on how to behave properly in China.

2. Show the letter with blanks on the board.Read and get them to use the information in 3a to finish the letter.

3.Ask Ss to write the letter.

4. Show one of the good passages to other students.

5. Analyzes the good sentences and correct the errors.

6. Show the writing sample. 

7. Ask Ss to write another passage about Chinese cultures.Show the sample to Ss to learn.

运用3b所给的重点的句子结构、写作指导，以及自己了解的中国餐桌礼仪，熟练运用本单元的句型写出该文章。通过写作，培养学生的书面表达能力。写作过后，从班内找出范文进行讲评，示范范文并进行讲评。

1. 本课时复习了3a里面常用的结构，然后利用了3b给定的一些重点句式结构和写作指导进行写作。

2. 在引导学生写作之前，一定要让学生熟练基本的句型，而且要认真审核所给的作文题目的具体要求，然后再进行写作。

3. 写作完成后，老师可以抽取上中下各层次的范文进行分析点评。
