    Unit 13 Section A Grammar Focus-4c 教案教学基本信息学科英语学段初中年级九年级单元 Unit 13课题Were trying to save the earth!总课时数6课时 Section AGrammar Focus-4c课型语法课授课时间 教学目标及教学重点、难点教学目标:At the end of the class, the students will be able to:  learn about The Present Continuous Tense, passive voice, Present Perfect and Modal Verbs. 教学重点:1. Key vocabulary:  afford, turn off, reusable, pay for, take action, transportation.2. Key sentences: a. Have you ever taken part in an environmental project?b. It was the biggest clean-up project this city has ever had. c. I think more than 1,000 people have come to help out.d. People may think that big things must be done to save the earth.3. Structures:  a. used to do  b. passive voice教学难点:The usage of modal verb. 教学过程(表格描述)教学环节主要教学活动设置意图Step 1Lead-in     (PPT 3)Free Talk1.Have you ever take part in an environment project? 2.What should you do to save the environment?   3.Answer the questions and lead in Grammar Focus.   自由讨论环保问题,回答这些问题。导入语法聚焦。Step 2Presentation(PPT 4 )1. Show Grammar Focus.2.Ask one student to read the sentences and show the grammar focus.    3. Pay attention to the words after make.  通过学生阅读语法聚焦,概括本单元的语法的用法Step 3Explanation (PPT 5-29)1.Explain the usage of The Present Continuous Tense, passive voice, Present Perfect and Modal Verbs.2.Read the examples.   通过举例图表等讲解语法,使学生能够透彻的理解本单元的核心内容Step 4Complete 4a-4b (PPT 30-33) Work on 4a. Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets. 2. Read the sentences in 4a.  3. Sum up the structures. 4.Work on 4b. Fill in the blanks with the appropriate modal verbs from the box.5.Read the passage. 完成4a对话和4并短文。然后进行朗读。做到将本单元所学的语法内容学以致用。Step 5Practice  (PPT 34)Work on 4c. Make a list of things that people can do to help the environment and discuss your list with your partner. use public transportation (n.交通运输);turn off the lights when you leave a room;use reusable bags instead of plastic bags;ride your bike or walk to school or work;stop using paper napkins(餐巾纸);recycle books and paper... 列举一些保护环境的措施,巩固对语法的掌握。Step 6Discussion  (PPT 35-40) Have a discussion... A: I think that everyone should take your own shopping bags when go shopping.B: I agree. it's good for the environment.本部分主要用来归纳本节课的重点语法情态动词后跟动词原形,现在完成时等的用法。Step 7    Exercises (PPT 41- 52) Show some exercise to practice the grammar.通过单选、词型填空、句型转换、翻译句子形式练习所学的本节课的语法Step 8    中考链接 (PPT 53-54) Choose the exercise to practice: be +done 本部分设计被动语态和现在完成时的中考题,对九下学生临近中考,引导学生学习过程中与中考链接。Step 9Homework(PPT 55 )1.Review present progressive, passive    voice, present perfect, used to and    modal verbs.2. Read the articles in Learning English.3. Preview the new words and expressions4. Preview 1a-2a on page 101. 设计该作业主要使学生们熟练运用语法,并在生活中学以致用。板书设计Unit 13 Were trying to save the earth!Section A (Grammar Focus-4c)1. Have you ever taken part in an environmental project?2.
