As we know，the Great Wall was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987.
The Great Wall is located in the northern part of China，the length of which is about 6，700 kilometers.The Great Wall was originally built in the Qin Dynasty to defend against the attack of the enemy.The Great Wall is a wonder that was created by the ancient Chinese working people and it is one of the greatest projects in the history of human beings.
In a word，all of this explains why the Great Wall earned—and deserves—its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
