Unit 12 Four seasons in one day

1教学目标

1.Language knowledge语言知识:

1). 能听、说、读以下单词:outside, turn, put on, was, said, went, hard, had, thought, finish, quickly, change, shine, go away.

2).能理解和运用以下句型描述天气:

                        I learned something interesting about the weather here. 

                        In England you can have four seasons in one day. 

                        When I was outside, the weather quickly changed.

                        The clouds went away.

                        The sky turned blue.

                        The sun started to shine.

                        The sky was black and it was raining hard.

3). 能初步了解一般过去时以及部分动词过去式的变换规律。

2.Language skill语言技能:

1)学生能通过听整体感知文本;

2)学生能通过阅读捕捉关键信息、在语境中猜词。

3)学生能在关键词的提示下复述英国一天的天气变化。

2学情分析

本阅读篇章是介绍英国多变天气的文章。文章篇幅长,新词长句较多,并采用一般过去时进行叙述,这在一定程度上加大了学生对文本理解和复述的难度。本节课主要以问题引领,,以小组合作导学,降低学习难度,训练学生的逻辑思维能力。

3重点难点

教学重点:   对英国天气情况的了解;   描述英国多变天气的句型的理解与朗读。

教学难点: 用一般过去时口头复述英国一天的天气变化。

活动1【导入】Let｀s　　sing.

Sing a song  " How is the weather?"

【设计意图】热身,活跃课堂气氛。

活动2【导入】Free　talk.

  Talk about the weather of the four seasons in Guangzhou.

【设计意图】通过Free talk激活学生对广州四季天气了解的知识,学习部分新单词,并引出本课话题。

活动3【活动】Watch　and　listen.

Watch the video of the letter for the main idea.

【设计意图】整体感知文本,了解文章大意。

活动4【练习】　First　read　

Read and find out the four seasons in different time in one day in England. Pupils  read and answer alone, then discuss in groups.

【设计意图】培养学生的逻辑推理能力,通过小组合作学习提高学习的效率。

活动5【讲授】Second　read

Read for details , and underline the answers in the passage.

【设计意图】进行细节性提问,引导学生查读,回答问题,鼓励学生通过联系上下文的方式理解生词与句型。

活动6【活动】Sing　and　relax.

Sing a song to relax  and help the pupis remember the changeable weather in England in one day.

【设计意图】在歌曲中巩固句型。

活动7【讲授】Third　read

Third read to circle the v-ed and find the rules.

【设计意图】让学生自己发现动词一般过去式的变化规律,初步感知一般过去时。

活动8【讲授】Read,　match　and　say.

Read, then match the time, weather and the activities.

【设计意图】进一步熟悉文本,为复述短文做铺垫。

活动9【讲授】Retell　the　letter.

 Retell the letter according to the key words.

【设计意图】图文帮助,还原文章。复述英国一天中多变的天气。

活动10【讲授】Sum　up

Sum up the main idea and the form of the letter.

【设计意图】小结本课主要内容与书信的格式。

活动11【作业】Homework

1.Read another passage about the the weather in England in the worksheet.
2.Creat a weather report  for England.

【设计意图】延续性作业,进行知识的拓展,检测学生学习成果。
