(1)主句＋as soon as引导的时间状语从句一······就······

例句①I will return the book to you as soon as I finish reading it.我一读完这本书就还给你.

②I'll go to visit my aunt in England as soon as the summer holiday starts.暑假一开始,我就去英国看望我的阿姨.

(2)...not...until/till...直到······才······

例句 Many people do not realize the importance of health until they fall ill.许多人直到生病了,才意识到健康的重要性.

(3) so...that...如此······以至于······

例句① New Arrivals of the Palace Museum is so interesting a TV show that many people like watching it.《上新了·故宫》是如此有趣的电视节目,以至于许多人都喜欢看它.

②He was so tired that he could not go on walking.他很劳累,再也不能继续走了.

(4)such...that...如此······以至于······

例句①such+a(n)(+adj.)+单数可数名词＋that从句

She is such a good teacher that all of us love her.她是一位很好的老师,我们都敬爱她.

②such(+adj.)+复数可数名词＋that从句

例句They are such interesting books that I want to read them once more.这些书非常有趣,我想再读一遍.

③such(+adj.)+不可数名词＋that从句

例句 He offered such valuable advice that few people disagreed.他给出了如此有价值的建议,以至于很少有人不同意.

(5)though/although/even though/even if 引导让步状语从句尽管／虽然／纵然／即使······,但是······

①-How do you like today's concert?你觉得今天的音乐会怎么样?

-Exciting, though one piece of the music wasn't played quite well.音乐会很激动人心,虽然有首曲子演奏得不是很好.

②The boy can speak both English and Japanese although he is only ten.这个男孩能说英语和日语两种语言,虽然他只有十岁.

③Even if you are with your friends, it is better to keep your voice down in public places.即使你和朋友在一起,在公共场合最好也要控制你的音量.

④Even though she never went to college, she got a job working together with a famous scientist.尽管她从未上过大学,但她得到了一份与著名科学家一起工作的工作.

(6)now that...既然／因为／由于······

例句①Now that none of us knows her telephone number, we have to send someone to deliver the message.既然我们谁也不知道她的电话号码,只有找个人去把消息告诉她了.

②Now that Dan has a job, he isn't so worried about money.既然丹有了份工作,他就不再那么担心钱了.

(7)疑问词-ever引导让步状语从句无论······

例句①Whatever happens, I won't change my mind.不论发生什么事,我都不会改变主意.

②Wherever you go, I'd like to go with you.无论你去哪儿,我都愿意与你同行.

(8)...as+形容词／副词＋as one could/can某人尽可能······

例句The volunteer spoke as clearly as she could to make the visitors understand her.这个志愿者尽可能地说清楚,以使参观者听懂她的话.

(9)so that/in order that 引导目的状语从句··········

例句①He studied hard in order that he could pass the exam.他努力学习以便能通过考试.

②He left early in order that he should/ would / might arrive on time.他早早动身好按时到达.

③I left home twenty minutes earlier than usual so that I would not be late for the meeting.为了开会不迟到,我比平常早了20分钟出门.

(10)if引导的真实条件句

if意为“如果”,引导条件状语从句,可放在主句后,也可放在主句前,常用逗号隔开.从句用一般现在时,表示将来意义.

例句①You will be late for school if you don't get up early.如果你不早起,你上学将会迟到.

②If you don't pay attention to the safety of food, your health will be in danger.如果你不关注食品安全,你的健康将会处于危险中.

注意if还可以当“是否”讲,主要用来引导宾语从句,相当于whether,从句的时态根据语境来确定.

例句 I wonder if I should wear a hat.我不知道该不该戴帽子.

(11)if引导的虚拟条件句

if条件从句虚拟现在时表示与现在事实相反的假设,从句的谓语动词形式用动词的过去式(be一般用were),主句用would/ should/could/might+动词原形.

例句-Come and join us, Ben!本,来加入我们吧！

-I'm afraid I can't. I'm too busy now. If I had time, I would certainly go.我恐怕不行.现在我太忙了.如果有空,我将一定去.

(12)unless引导的条件句除非······;非······不可

例句 The rivers will become dirtier and dirtier unless we take action to protect them.除非采取行动保护这些河流,否则它们会变得越来越脏.

(13)when/while/as+从句当······时候

例句①When I grow up, I want to be an actor.长大后,我想当一名演员.

②When I lived in the countryside, I used to carry some water for him.当我住在农村时,我常常为他担水.

③While my wife was reading the newspaper, I was watching TV.当妻子读报纸的时候,我在看电视.

④We always sing as we walk.我们总是边走边唱.

⑤As we were going out, it began to snow.当我们出门时,天开始下雪了.

(14)as/so long as+从句只要······就······

例句①As long as she did this, all would be good.只要她能做到这一点,就万事大吉了.

②As long as there is life, there is hope.留得生命在,不怕没希望.

③You can go out, as/ so long as you promise to be back before 10 o'clock.你可以出去,只要你答应在10点之前回来.

(15)once+从句一旦······就.·····

例句Once she arrives, we can start.她一到,我们就可以开始了.
