设计说明 本单元是复习单元,主要复习用感官动词来描述人物外貌及感受。因内容较多,应把教学环节安排得紧凑合理,能优化的就尽量优化。由生日谈起,引入教材上生日聚会的图片,并利用该图复习感官动词,然后按教材内容依次开展教学。其中,可以把第7、8两个活动整合在一起,使教学内容更充实,增强其操作性。还有,“世界各地”内容相对简单,故按简短的阅读理解来处理了。 教学目标 通过本单元的学习,让学生达成以下目标 1.知识目标: (1)复习巩固本模块所学的生词和短语 (2)复习巩固感官动词的用法 2.能力目标: 能描述人物的外貌、爱好和感受 3.情感目标: 辨认人物,了解性格爱好,有效地与他人沟通,善于结交朋友 重点难点 重点:复习巩固感官动词的用法 难点:描述人的外貌、爱好及感受 教学准备 PPT课件,活动9的录音 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Ask students to talk about their birthday party. Use the following questions. When is your birthday…? Do you often have a birthday party? What do you usually prepare for it? What food/fruit/drink...? Step 2 Presentation 1. Now Lingling is having a birthday party. Look at the picture. Find out what she prepared for her party. the cookies the bananas the flowers the juice the chairs the music the balloons Then practice the conversation: A: Do you like the …? B:Yes, I do./No, I don’t. A: Why? B: Because they/ it look(s)/feels(s)/ smell(s)/ taste(s)/ sound(s)… 2. Look at the picture. Complete the sentences in Activity 1. Step 3 Writing about yourself (Activity 2) 1. Write sentences about yourself. Use the words in the box to help you. Model: I like this dress very much. It feels comfortable. I like pandas. They look funny and friendly. I don’t like cheese. It smells very strong. I like my teacher’s voice. It sounds nice. I love fruit because it tastes sweet and fresh. 2. Get several students to read out their answers in class. Step 4 Making a conversation 1. Get one student to come to the front and ask the others the following questions: T: What does he/she look like? S: He/She looks… T: What is he/she like? S: He/She is… NOTE: What does/do sb. look like?“某人长什么样子?”重在询问外貌特征; What is/are sb. like?“某人是个什么样的人?”重在询问性格特征、内在品质 2. Get the class to practice the conversation below in pairs. A: What does he/she look like? B: He/She looks… A: What is he/she like? B: He/She is… Step 5 Filling in the form(Activity 3) Put the words in the box into the correct columns. The answers are:
Step 6 Practice Work in pairs. Use the table in Activity 3 to ask and answer questions about the people (your mum, your dad, your maths / Chinese / music teacher ,your uncle, your best friend). B: She’s/He’s… Step 7 Completing the conversation Ask students to complete the conversation with the correct form of the words in the box. Tell them to use some of the words more than once. 1. Get the class to read the words in the box in Activity 6. Make sure they understand them. 2. Get the class to complete the passage.
